Challenge: Music tools have always sat behind a wall of money and gatekeepers, which locks most artists out. OmMuse was built to tear that wall down.
Idea: Create a highly-accessible platform that gives artists and music companies a suite of innovative tools that make their lives easier: offering optimized storage, production, and project management solutions tailored to each user (think if Dropbox, Jira, and Slack had a baby specifically for musicians.)
Result: From zero to tens of thousands of users within six months, plus a thriving B2B enterprise program for music companies, notable press, and several strong partnerships. All done with an incredibly lean team and minimal marketing budget.

As Chief Marketing Officer, this job pushed and stretched me to evolve outside of my previous Brand Manager / Creative Leader roles. I was responsible for overseeing all marketing initiatives, including building the brand from scratch, website, UI/UX, content, social, paid media, email, partnerships, press, hiring, internal CMS, and creating an enterprise tier for labels, publishers, and talent management companies.
I wore a million hats every day, playing a crucial role in efficiently scaling a tiny startup into a respected platform that's successfully outpacing competitors 30x its size.

Built like the product it sold
OmMuse had to look as engineered as it was, so I built a brand system that felt like a pro studio tool: dark studio backgrounds, a single cyan accent, bold display type, and mono reserved for the technical proof (100 GB, WAV and FLAC, Dolby AI mastering). The waveform became the one signature graphic device, drawn from real audio sound waves, and a brand guide covering everything from message hierarchy to accessibility contrast ratios. Then I put it to work across the entire funnel: paid social and banner ads to pull people in, responsive landing pages to convert them, and lifecycle emails that fired on user behavior (like a win-back that pulls users back in for retention). As CMO, none of it was simple decoration, it was the right visual messaging that turned a FB ad into a free trial into a user who kept coming back.
